Alert Monitoring is proud to be a Dunedin owned and operated business. Working across New Zealand providing a 24 hour-a-day manned monitoring and offering a range of security services including; alarm monitoring, night patrol, and CCTV monitoring.
The highly trained personnel are one of Alert Monitoring’s most valued components. They respond to and process all alarm calls and events, so are highly valued members of the Alert Monitoring team. All our guards are fully licensed under the Security Guard Act and are easily identifiable by wearing Alert Monitoring uniforms and driving Alert Monitoring vehicles. All Alert Monitoring staff are police certified.
Alert Monitoring started in 1994 and moved into guard work in 1996. Technology in the industry is always changing and Alert Monitoring like to keep up with the latest in alarm technology to ensure our clients have the most reliable and secure system. John and Jenny - Owners
John began as an independent business owner in 1990, and officially started Alert Monitoring in 1994.
John and Jenny saw the need for a highly customer care focused Dunedin based alarm monitoring company that was small enough to care yet had the depth of industry knowledge to cater for the needs of the Dunedin and New Zealand market.
This need for a hands-on, personal service has become ever more important with many independent New Zealand companies being acquired by multinationals and customer services standards moving overseas and often drastically declining.
John and Jenny strongly believe that the road to success when building a business is with happy customers. This is why John and Jenny insist on being approachable and are happy to speak with their customers at any time.
